    so i went to my very first fanclub party this year and i have got to say it was well worth going. even though it cost alot to go to the free party, every penny was worth it. after coming back from hawaii the week before the party, i stayed home for the weekend then packed again for nashville. i was excited but nervous at the same time because i was traveling alone. but i have got to say that Nashville was beautiful. weather wasnt too bad.

    the night i got there. i walked to the Opry Mills Mall and then to the grand ole opry to look around. then came back dropped off some stuff and then headed out to the grand ole opry to camp out with the other fans. i have got to say that there were some dedicated fans. even though when more people came there were some arguments going around, but i just stayed quiet and waited til the party started.

    The Party: it was nice of Carrie to give us goody bags and t-shirts. i bought some new merchandise and wear it like all the time now. :) she sang so beautifully. even when all the songs we the fans chose were powerful songs. we knew carrie could do it. then we played a game with Carrie, but not everyone got to participate, but it was very interesting to watch ;) After the party, i just chilled at the mall for a bit and then headed back to the Opry to see Carrie Perform. she's always amazing. and so beautiful. so that day i failed to get something signed by carrie and a picture..so my last chance was my last full day there..which was the softball game.

    SoftBall Game: i got pretty good seats at the softball game. near homeplate. but i was in the middle so i couldnt go in n out.so when i saw other fans stand in the aisle..i too went out and stayed out in the aisle to see if carrie and sign something for me. the game was awesome. Everyone was awesome. Carrie of course was great. she hit a double then ran home :) towards the end of the game, Carrie came back to sign and she SIGNED MY SHIRT!! but i didn't bother to ask for a picture because she was so busy. but i was satisfied that she signed my shirt. that really made my day.

    Headed Back to Cali: my trip back to cali was horrible. i was delayed at the Nashville airport for 17 hours..17 hours everyone..my first flight got cancelled due to weather in Dallas..so they changed my flight to land at another airport. that flight kept getting delayed..and i finally got on the plane at 1am.my original flight was at 8am thursday..and i get to cali 1230pm..but i got home 430am friday...being delayed for that long was not fun.

    that was my overall trip to nashville. i would love to go there again or even live there..but i just don't like getting delayed..LOL! if ya'll ever get a chance to go to nashville, don't hesitate...just go!

    so i came on to see if carrie posted up any new blogs and SHE DID! TWO OF THEM! haha..where was i? idk..umm anyways..so i read the first one..and it was about her Grammy WIN :) i was really happy that she won. plus her grammy performance with Orianthi was AMAZING!!!!

    and then i read her most recent one about Carrie being nominated for Entertainer of the Year..oh my goodness that totally freaked me out...i'm really excited and i really do hope carrie gets it. seeing her performance after performance and going to her concert..she deserves it :)

    i hope y'all are excited as i am :) YAY FOR CARRIE UNDERWOOD!!!!

    I'm doing good. I'm busy planning a major career change and relocation - looking for doors to open. Hey, have to say thank you for serving. My folks were veterans and some of my friends are vets of Nam & Desert Storm. I'm also a military aviation enthusiast. I know you'll have fun at the midstate fair - you can tell me about it.     Stopped in to say hI. Sorry I missed ya at the party. I know you couldn't stay all week. Some of us managed to swap cell#s the week before - much easier to find friends that way. We should do that next year. Bummer about the airport delays but you gotta admit, any time spent in Nashville with Carrie is worth it. Some of us are going to the Ft. Campbell concert Aug. 14. It just never gets old. Hope things are going well, Ted

    Hi Susan, How have you been? I'm just surviving the Ohio snow and freezing cold - Yuck! It hasn,t been this bad in many years. Yeah, I know, Cali is nice right now. The PCAS, the Grammys, EOTY - GO CARRIE! Still no surprise to me. There will be more. I just heard about the June 9 party. Still waiting for info to get Opry tickets on the right date. What a Blast!
